they also said it's impossible for a man to live and breathe underwater

Once last semester I was running into my politics lecture late, and as my iPod earbuds were dangling from my bag and the volume was up full blast, what I had been listening to was still audible.

As I hurried out of lecture that day, I passed a Very Cute Boy. I semi-accidentally caught his eye, and to my surprise he stopped me. Stopped me and asked, "When you came into class late, were you listening to Moon, Turn The Tides...Gently, Gently?" Wide-eyed with shock, I gushed, "Yes. Oh my god. Yes!"

"Yeah," he grinned, "I heard the guitar-posing-as-dolphins noise coming out of your earbuds."

And FOR SOME REASON, I must have done a hit of ACID at this point because I CAN'T REMEMBER for the LIFE of me what happened, and why I didn't propose right on the spot. Of course, I never saw him again.

This is a recurring theme in my life. Its most memorable occurence was my junior (senior?) year of high school, with he whom I will always refer lovingly to as SAT Boy. Oh, SAT Boy. I'll find you again some day.

Who wants to go here with me? Anyone? I'm just feeling all homesicky right now. Also am procrastinating studying for my Irish oral final, which I got moved to tomorrow.

I miss spanish. Necessito que asistir a una clase de espanol un otra vez. Estaria en San Rafael para Cinco de Mayo, gracias a dios, y cuando trabajo a Trader Joe's hablo espanol a menudo, pero tengo que estudiar! ...I hate stupid American keyboards that make it basically impossible to add accentos or tildes or like, anything.

Okay. How about I stop procrastinating...now!

Only three more days. Only three more days.
