slumber party
So I'm up late... can't help it, i can still hear the movie in the living room... My son is so happy and so excited, i had to put my foot down though and draw a line in the sand. His older brother made the comment of how "slumber part is such a funny thing, cuz slumber means sleep, but you can't if you are having a party!"
My come back.... "No, cuz it is half and half. Half Party, Half Sleep! It is almost midnight, the first half was the party, which is done, Now it is time to Calm Down and Go To Sleep!"
They still are not sleeping, but at least they are quietly laying down.
I need to get to sleep myself. Actually had half a glass of boons to help me unwind, had such a long day. And tomorrow starts bright and early with pancakes! hmmmm I'm gonna have mine with lots of butter. Then catching up on laundry and an evening with friends... lately my weekends home with the kids have been getting fuller and bussier.
