On January 5, 19 __, Emily's diary reads, "Perry is on the High School team who will debate with the Queen's Academy boys in February." The very next entry, for January 21, begins, "Friday night the debate between Shrewsbury High and Queen's came off."
This one is pretty easily dismissed as a simple mistake on Emily's part that she didn't bother to correct, being too much concerned with transcendent beauty and whatnot. Still, it was funny to double-check the timing of the Shrewsbury-Queen's debate and find it contradicted within the space of a single page.
