I'm not getting too nervous yet about cast lists!
The latest news:
Opera House Theatre Company will start letting everyone know this coming Monday of the casting for Gypsy, Cinderella, and Grease-
Soooo I get to think about it for another week, but that's OK! Because it means they haven't written me off yet!
WOOHOO!
Climbing competition yesterday, *snorts* I totally should have climbed beginner, intermediate was hard as shit. I can climb them, I think, but with more opportunities to fall than 2. So I'ma go again today with Kiera (who's considerably better than I am-she got 2nd) so I can work on the routes...I guess there's always gotta be someone you're close to who's better than you at something else. I'll never be the best at anything again, haha, because high school was different,
there I was the best actor, tennis player, whatever ...but, hmm...here...and every time and place after high school, the significance of my talent is diminished.
I think I'm anxious to get home for summer. I'll work at Port City Java again if they choose to pay me a little bit more, and I'll do that in the mornings, 6 am-2 pm, just like last summer, maybe get a waitressing job at night 2-3 nights a week for the first part of the summer, lay around on the beach, go surfing with my sisters, take a random trip to charleston, take a random trip...somewhere else! Find a place to go climbing, and the second half of the summer I'll be able to do Grease (assuming they want to cast me) 6 days a week!
And then, summer will be over and I'll be back here for school (dreading winter) and I'll be older in my head, and that'll be good, I won't do terribly stupid things.
*sigh* pretty day
I'm going to play in it!
