Today...
I'm sure you have noticed my lack of writing lately. Unfortunately, life got in the way of one of the things I like to do most. I still have every intention of finishing everything that I've started, and I want to thank you for your patience. I took a long drive this weekend to go see my mother and as I was driving back home, something has happened to me that hasn't happened in a while. I started thinking about stories again. Not just the one's I'm writing, but the one's in the future that I want to write. The switch sometimes gets turned back on when I'm staring down a long stretch of highway, listening to music, and not really thinking about my destination but just enjoying the moments of solace and clarity.
So, it's time to turn back on my word processor and process some words into something that comes out to be more than an inventory list or a billing something or other. This is for today, because tomorrow is too far away to think about.
