The beat goes on

Yesterday's essay on Daily Breadcrumbs was about the gifts donated by the leaders of the Israelite tribes upon the dedication of the tabernacle. Today's breadcrumb is about their more stingy side.

I now have my car back. She's in working order and has the side-blinker cover, which somehow managed to disappear a few weeks ago. Yay for working cars!

On the other hand, I have no books to read. Last week, I managed to snag three new books at the library and finish reading Snow Crash. This week, there was nothing in the "new books" section (the only section I browse regularly, because it's only three small shelves) that interested me. Alas. Maybe I'll try today.

Yesterday night was the massage party / barbque at Warrens. I ate way, way, WAY too much: roasted red pepper stuffed with macaroni salad (surprisingly filling), peppercorn steak (surprisingly peppery), two pieces of apple crumble pie, chips... yeah. My stomach was all round from the excessive eating. I hope it was worth it.

As for the massage itself... well, I had fun. Unfortunately, lying on my stomach caused my lower back to act up, so getting massaged wasn't quite as nice as it could have been. Many thanks to Eric for working on my lower back: it was feeling comparatively better by the end of my 10-minute session. But, for some reason, this time round wasn't as good for me as the massages we did in late December. But, as I said, I had fun, and that's the important thing.

Now I'm just waiting around for Marc to call me to help him move apartments. I really should plan lessons and Vanier stuff at some point before the game later this afternoon. Everything else is negotiable.

massage, party, daily breadcrumbs, food, daily update
