"I recently graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art with a first class degree in Performance Costume (BA Hons Design and Applied Arts). My costume designs aim to capture my intrigue in a dark, macabre aesthetic. I like to create powerful, silhouettes in my designs and aim for a dramatic stage presence. I am inspired by anything that challenges the boundaries of reality and the known. I make many things true to my love of sparkles, wirework masks, jewellery, hats, weaving, embroidery, tailoring, pattern cutting, body casting, clay work, drawing, painting, collage, photography, millinery, corsetry, beadwork, shibori, fabric dyeing. I also perform as part of The Curious Collective, whom use mechanical doll aesthetics and movement and working within stage and street spaces. We will be constantly developing our aethetic and appearing as if by 'magic' around Edinburgh's cultural scene."
she even sells selected of her drawings, the prices between 70 and 100 pounds.
