I heart Brits
Yay Oscars. I just finished watching them on tape since I went to bed at a reasonable time. I'm sick, you see. I've been sick since Friday, and that is teh suck. Also teh suck: I haven't seen Mike for more than 1/2 an hour in like, a week. Ick.
Improv is tomorrow night! I have been waiting for this ( http://www.kitchenette.ca/ottawaimprov/index-general.htm ) all year. EEEE! I'm sad I'll be missing the finals on saturday, but instead I will be skiing in Mont Tremblant with Mike and his family for a week. EEE! I haven't been skiing this year yet, but this totally makes up for it. I went out yesterday with my mom and bought skis and poles and bindings and all manner of ski equipment. I found this hat that I'm in love with that has earphones in it, so you plug it into your ipod or whatever. I haven't taken it off since I got it. I do need some snowpants though. Can't find a pair under like, $200. Damnit.
So while shopping yesterday, my mom ambushed me in the car with a sex talk, since I'm going away with Mike for a week. I felt like saying to her "Are you not clear that his parents ARE going to be there the WHOLE TIME? Unless we you know, duck behind a tree or something, even if we wanted to, there would not be a time. Geez. It was THE wierdest convo I've ever had.
In other Mike news, we had our 5 month anniversary last Wednesday, and he took me out for dinner after Rugby. It was so nice. I love him so much.
Rugby! Yay! It's back. I have been waiting all year for this too! I haven't done ANY physical activity since rugby last year, except riding, which is totally different, and therefore no help to me at all. Two sets of "Pick and Post" down the gym and Pass along the line back up, I was dying. DYING. Mike says he'll go running with me sometime... like I'm actually going to get out there :P.
And yes, it's true, this summer I'm doing Summer School. Reach Ahead, of course, I didn't fail anything. I'm doing Co-op. I'm hoping to work at Mother Tongue Books or Octopus Books or something like that. It'd be cool to work in a book store and it'd be retail experience which will help me get a job elsewhere. That's good because I am WAY over babysitting.
