Got some pretty dice from Q-Workshop today (famous for Ben's legendary Call of Cthuhlu dice)... Unfortunately they were for Leon's birthday... :( But they seem like a good company - they sent them from Poland incredibly quickly, and even added in a couple of free dice. Not too sure about the bias though - these might require a chi-square distribution test...
Duncan says that he will get 4th ed. in on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, so possibly every afternoon this week will be spent running down to The Games Room! Not sure whether people want to do Greyhawk or Keep on the Shadowfell on Thursday? If anyone has a preference then please express it, as I'm swiss...
Not been up to much else, other than fiddling with Magic cards and watching tv. Bought a 9,600 card capacity box for them, which is worryingly close to being filled already... Perhaps I got carried away... :s
Oh yes! In charity shops today we found a supplement for Hunter and one for Wild West Werewolf too - yay! :S I found my ultimate sourcebook nightmare when I opened the Wild West Werewolf book onto its gun page... Aaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!
Thankfully I was also able to find: a book of romantic letters; Fighting Fantasy book 20; 9 episodes of Alan Partridge and volume 5 of Lucifer in the various second-hand shops of Magdalen Street.
I would probably have to fight on the side of Lucifer in the great Sandman vs. Lucifer debate... I think...
Watched the first part of the 2000 Dune miniseries last night, but, though a faithful adaptation with crazy costumes, it didn't seem to be anything special... I think that I probably prefer the Lynch film! :) Saw Blade II when it was on channel 4, and have now lost any desire to ever play Sabbat again... :( Dr. Who was quite entertaining, and a huge improvement on pretty-much every episode this series (it's great to see a story given two episodes to breathe in, rather than being rushed), but I think that I already read that story somewhere... I really hope that the irritating archaeologist woman that the Doctor gets involved with dies next episode and leaves some cheesy dying words on her suit LED thingy... And if Donna could follow her shortly, then that'd be great...
Will hopefully see the new Indiana Jones tomorrow, toward which I don't have particularly high hopes...
