Two pages of artsy fail from Batman #696.
I just couldn´t help myself.
I mean I know I make a lot of mistakes myself, but this guy gets paid to draw DC´s presumed flagship title and for reasons i cannot fathom he seems to be immensely popular with a great part of the audience.
Now I´m not one of those people who think the amount of feet shown in a picture has any relation to the quality of the art, but it´s getting obvious that Tony Daniel has no idea where or how his figures are standing. Besides, it seems he not only likes to hide the feet, but also cheats away the second leg, so a lot of his poses look awkwardly off balance.
And there´s no way a fighter can lay his body weight into a punch with his own leg standing in the way like that. But anatomy doesn´t seem to be Tony´s forte anyway.
Wonder what it is then. Storytelling doesn´t seem to be it either...
Please please please DC! Don´t let Tony Daniel draw or write Batman #700!!!
