(no subject)
last night was awesome: Val's and Mandy's party rocked my socks off, i had a fabulous time, and i must say it was really fun to be able to hang out with different people for once, i just found it very interesting and refreshing you may say...
however there was WAY too much ear action...and im starting to regret those text messages lol it was quite embarrassing today
region orchestra concert was awesome but very sad at the same time cuz i realized that that was my last region concert EVER!! it still hasn't really hit me yet and i know that when it does it will feel like i have a hole in my heart...i know this prob sounds really retarded, i mean who the hell loves regions that much right? but i have had some AMAZING times and memories at both region band and orchestra and ive made sooo many great friends and met soo many people and its just uber fun...and getting acknowledged for being in it for 4 years really meant a lot to me and im glad that Mr. Quam presented me cuz it just made it even more special :) so farewell North NJ Region I Honors Ensembles!!! i shall miss you greatly and i will never forget the amazing times that ive had as a part of those organizations
as far as the concert itself, we played awesome and i just LOOOOOOVE PUCCINI!!!!! omg everytime i hear/play that piece im practically brought to tears and it just makes me want to be in Italy sooooooo freakin bad right now!!! sitting in a cafe for hours, outside in the piazza, watching the world go by....sigh, that is the life...Cowboys was of course amazing as usual and we did well with the other pieces as well...
seeing the "dead" person was creepy, me: omg...is that a person hanging? omg...omg...holy shit it is! its just like the Phantom of the Opera!! andrew: are you ok? are you sure you aren't seeing things? me: omg that was only ONE time that i thought i saw a ladder! and cmon, you don't think that looks like a person? i SWEAR theres nothing wrong with me!!! hahah and it turned out to be some like sack with a coat and santa hat and shoes attached to it, looks like the stage crew had a little too much time on their hands lol but i wasn't the only one that thought it was a person, i swear! lol
im currently watching the Grammys and i just saw Maroon 5 perform part of "This Love" and i started flipping out like no other, it just made me realize how much im obsessed with them lol and they were up for the first category (im not sure what it was) for "She Will Be Loved" which is like one of my favs of their songs but they didn't win, it was extremely depressing...oh well they're up for a lot more awards so we'll see!!
ok off to procrastinate hwk and watch the Grammys!!!
