Sometimes you just need to threaten things.
So Friday my phone started doing weird things after I had it in the bathroom while I was in the tub. And before anyone asks, I did not drop it in the tub.
I waited for what I figured was some condensation to dry out. It was still trying to record memos for all buttons, so I decided to take the thing apart. A little bit later with the help of my old dead chip phone, I had isolated the problem to the keypad itself. Much cursing later, I discovered I couldn't actually remove the old key pad to replace the one in the new phone. So I figure I'll just put the new chip in the old phone body... But somewhere along the line I hook up all the pieces of the new phone just because and find it is now totally recovered and working perfectly. *sigh*
At least it's working now. Time for another bath I think.
