I had to cancel our Sept. trip to Bangkok today :(
Luckily I had a refundable ticket, and all I had to lose was $100. I would have changed dates, but the fare I found was so low ($800/ea) nothing I could find now came close, and I didn't want to pay more.
Too bad! The trip would have fallen right at the close of escrow, and in general was pretty irresponsible considering our big purchase coming up.
I've always wanted to go to Asia, and the fare I had was the first time I found such a trip affordable. Airfare is on the rise in a big way now, so who knows when we'll reschedule this adventure.
