First things first (n. BIG), you ever notice how people wear clothes that weren't really inteded for them? Aside from all the normal day to day bad dressers, you see things that blow your mind. This might have happened 10 years ago, but it still is quite vivid in my mind. My family was at the original
Penn Dutch in Hollywood doing our shopping when I saw a middle aged black man wearing a shirt which would shatter the "Unintentional Comedy Scale (n. Bill Simmons)." It was a slogan tee with the words on a yellow road sign which read, "Danger! Educated Black Woman on Board." Had I seen this today, I would have likely had a fit (n.
jimmyfry) and then proceeded to re-write the book on shit I never expected to see.
Never took a specific notice of when VH1 became a channel of clip shows and overnight music videos. I remember when it generally played only the crappiest crap in the world of music videos such as outdated Madonna, Bolton, Wilson-Phillips, and all of the videos which could have been filmed live at Lilith Fair. It's fine, but I wonder if they will change their name since VH1=Video Hits 1, guess they could just say VH1 doesn't stand for anything specific. I do mark for I Love The..., The Fabulous Life of...., and The Best Week Ever since both are pretty easy to ignore and not miss anything. THESE are good, the commentators are generally funny, and you don't constantly wonder who in the hell these people are. Every other clip show dips waaaaay down into the barrel for comedians and actors who I could imagine as the warm up act at the local Ha Ha's or Funny Bone. I could easily be the man on a show like those, especially within a state of inebriation.
Lynda Carter is still hot, joining the ranks of Morgan Fairchild and Julianne Moore as some of the best looking ladies over 40. Hot damn Wonder Woman.
If you can tell me what the chorus is in The Roots' "Don't Say Nothin" I'd appreciate it, but you can only decipher this from hearing the song, not checking out lyrics online.
Big ups to Britney on her becoming someone's stepmother, all class that girl.
And even bigger ups to Joe Waesco on moving back to Orlando.
PLS...
