so i've officially moved on. even though you made one final last nice gesture, it just was too little too late. sorry. plus, it would have been awkward. and this weekend was really one of the best i've had in a while. perhaps because i didn't have to worry about all of you? i don't know, maybe.
Friday: High School Musical Party at Hilary's house with Hilary, Marisa, and Emily. so much fun! we sang along and improved the motions. that is really a great musical. oh and i pretty much wish highs school were like that. PS. who would name their daughter Charpe?
Saturday: Capital City. we got 3rd out of 5 haha, but 1st in music so I guess it isn't that bad. whatev. then Megan, Nicole and I went to see Little Miss Sunshine in the theatre around 10:00. that was such a great movie!! I'm not really one to buy DVD's but the day that comes out, I'm going to have to buy it. such a good movie. and we got in for free because of Nicole's awesomeness.
Sunday: Lazer Blazer Tag with Paol, Clair, Sophi, Mel, David, Zach, Gonzo, Ellen, Ryan, Natalie and others. and it was so much funnnn. I lost though, but not nearly as bad as Sophi, although I don't think she was really trying. Anyway, after that we (very safely) drove back to Zach's house where his mom was going crazy with all the halloween decorations. "THE BATHROOM SCREAMED AT MEEEE!!!" hah. anyway, then we headed over to Austin's pizza on Far West. umm. After that, we snuck into Murcheson Park and rolled down Murcheson hill on pizza boxes. After we were all itchy, we went to blockbuster and rented Friday the 13th. Then back to Zach's casa where we met up with Bronwynn ans others to watch the scary movie. it was kind of 'graphic' if you know what i mean. ha. funfun.
anyway, monday while buying my secret freshman band buddy a gift at Toy Joy, i found something that i really needed. so i bought it. a kaleidoscope. i found it with every intention of giving it to my freshman, but i just couldn't help myself. so i opened it and looked in admiringly. is it weird that something so simple can mean so much? i pretty much just sat around for about an hour today looking in it and turning...okay, so i'm a nerd, what else is new? ha, well. it just seems to be a really great way to relieve stress and clear my mind. there's just something magical about it.
