(no subject)
so i went home for easter this weekend, In fact im still at home. I will be leaving at 4 am for Denton so i can make a 9am class. Hopefully there will be 0 traffic.
This weekend wasnt long enough! There were several people that i wanted to see but i didnt get to. AKA sarah s., jessica, and then certain people that i would have liked to see more!
My family had there great big easter celebration as always complete with Easter Egg hunt. They hid money eggs and confetti eggs for the "big kids" (basically anyone over the age of 16. I didnt find any money eggs but i found a yoyo. i almost got a kid to trade me $20 for it, but then i think he realized that he could have gotten it at target for $1. so that kind of fell through.
Im excited about school almost being over but im also excited about the things coming up in school. the grand chorus is performing Rachmaninoff's all night vigil (its not all night...only 2 hours. It is sooo beatufiul. It is incredible working with such talent...its really a dream come true. Also juries are coming up (which is the final for voice majors where we preform for the falculty) im very excited for that. i love my pieces and absolutly love my voice teacher. i've learned so much as a musician in just one semester it is incredible.
