This one I read over and over. I guess everyone takes different meanings of what they read but his one was special to me. It lingers still in my head, a connection it, it makes sense to me really...Your poems are always more than mere random words, disjointed unrelated word play, they are always deep and profound but this one, is different. It was almost like a hug...almost like loss of ...so much..if that makes sense..I loved it. It was tragic and bittersweet and said so much of the ways of of the world...

I am truly glad that you have enjoyed this. I think that the aim of a poet should be to have someone deeply connect emotionally with a particular piece, even if it's only one poem. If I have accomplished that with even one person then I am happy beyond words. Thank you so much for your words, undeserving as my words are of your praise. Thank you again, it means a great deal that you've enjoyed what I have written.

Also, as a bit of a side note; I wasn't particularly fond of this poem myself. I had a bit more difficulty with the ending than I normally do. Normally, I write a poem from beginning to end in about 20 minutes or less. This one took me about 45 minutes and I wasn't content with different aspects of it, and remain unsatisfied with parts. I consider it a work in progress, though your words have made me think twice about changing it now.
