If I had to describe how I've felt today and yesterday, I'd say... like an elementary school student on their last day of summer vacation, watching as the hours and minutes tick on by.

Orientation begins tomorrow at 8:30AM and ends at 5PM.

After that, it's about 2 weeks of training which, while "scheduled to change", is currently listed at 6AM - 2:30PM. And I really, really hope that it's changed, because it means I'd have to get up at 5AM at the very latest and... I just don't want to think about that.

My regular working hours are gonna be from 1PM - 9:30PM, not bad at all assuming I survive my training. Days off are gonna be Sunday & Monday. Dress code is business casual, which I'm just gonna have to deal with. 30 minute lunch, and two 15 minute breaks.

I'll be working at Walgreens, and it's no more than a 10-minute drive, both of these are a nice plus. Details of what I'll actually be doing are kind of fuzzy, but I guess Orientation and Training will handle that.

To say that I have mixed emotions about all this, would be pretty accurate. But maybe it'll change once I start.

Then again, maybe not.
