Back.
Back from camping, had a lot of fun. First day we left at noon, got there at 4 pm- were able to pick a campsite, get tents set up, and collect plenty of firewood while it was still light outside. Amazing! This came to pass because the two cars of people who were (more or less) prepared left at noon, and the rest left at 6 pm to rendezvous with them in Payson. I picked up a couple nice blisters preparing firewood- we had a total of 3 handaxes from Wal-Mart this weekend, and their handgrips aren't very good- and a couple random scratches, as camping tends to do to me.
Saturday morning, headed with the group going to the showers, but the power was out so we spent a good hour and a half on nothing. (had to hit a convenience store beforehand so Spork (a different Spork) could grab quarters) Came back, half the group went to the nearby ice cold lake, and Tyler, Greg, Evil Mike and myself went for a brisk hike that was wonderful. Saw only a couple squirrels as far as wildlife goes- Gumby wandered off with Adam the night before and saw some elk by the 'creek'. Drank some of my booze, and some of the Jager that was being passed around, but not a whole lot- situation and people weren't familiar enough to me for me to actually get drunk.
Sunday morning, got my stuff together, waited a few hours while people sobered up and had breakfast, then headed back into town. Now I'm sitting here, contemplating chinese food and downloading the Dirty Harry movies, as apparently Leah hadn't seen any of them yet.
