Saw it today. Brilliant. Exhilarating and gut wrenching and heroic and hilarious and crushingly sad... perfect. Everyone had their moment; it was like a tribute to so many glorious moments, so many wonderful characters through decades. A true journey.
Mc Gonagall. Wow. I cheered and laughed and gasped. The way she teared up at Harry's 'death' had me tearing up.
Voldemort: how can someone ham it up while simultaneously making it so true to the character? Words fail me with this one.
Neville: Finally. Worth every second.
Harry: I felt like Radcliffe finally grew into the role, truly. He owned it. He brought courage and pathos and vulnerability, effortlessly.
Hermione: again, she's been incredible, from HBP to now. At last I felt like I was watching Hermione Granger, not Emma Watson (lovely as she is).
Ron: yes, I'm biased. But as much for loving Rupert Grint the actor, as Ron Weasley. He was magnificent, really. The Chamber of Secrets, the Kiss, the RoR.... he's grown up to be a gorgeous, talented young lad. So nice to see.
Molly: I cheered my arse off for her.
Just, everything. It was sad and joyous. Yes, I plan to re-watch. You kidding? :)
