(no subject)
I had such a fun day today! Liz and Sara and I were up late singing loudly to country music last night and into early this morning (so it still counts as today), and I think that, after a whole year of no country music, I'm hooked again. I used to listen to it in the car last summer, especially on the long drive to Owosso once a week for my internship at the Independent. We used to play it at the DQ, too (well, when certain people weren't there to change the station, at least).
I got up early (7 a.m.-ish) and wrote my paper for Carol's class, and I think it turned out really good! I'm not getting graded on it (I don't think) because it's just my project for my honors contract, but I was still worried it'd be bad. But I don't think it is!
I went to lunch at Sidetrack with Jason and Nathan after I turned in my paper. It was a lot of fun!! And we toasted when the train went by. :):) I'm really glad it finally worked out and we finally got to go. It was a nice way to end the semester.
Then Liz and I went to try to sell some of my books back. Finding out that there are new editions on next year's book lists wasn't quite as fun as lunch, but I got $28 back, so that's something, right?
When we got back, we cleaned our room and packed a lot of stuff up, all while listening to country music and oldies (and some Grease and Moulin Rouge) from my Napster. It was a blast! We found some classics, let me tell ya.
I can't make this any longer because I have to go to work, but I just wanted to mention briefly that I had a fun day. :-D
