I got sick of the name "Dork" a long time ago. And I liked the idea of changing the name now that I've changed publishers. We've done a lot of work under the House of Fun pseudo-studio for a long time, so some folks know the name.
As far as the brand goes, there really isn't much of one to speak of. My comics sell quite a bit less than what they used to. The Dork trades we put out weren't called "Dork", and that didn't seem to cause any problems. Also, I don't know if this is still true, but the name used to cost us some sales from some retailers in the mid-west. There's a Dork candy bar but as the name of a comic it apparently offended a few folks. I dunno if it would matter now. I doubt there will be many more issues of the anthology whatever it's called, the way things are going. So, I might as well call it by a name I'm happier with.
