OMG WOW. TRANSFORMERS? THAT WAS ONE FUCKING AWESOME MOVIE.
I was thoroughly entertained. Shia LeBouf was awkwardly cute. He totally showed that he can act beyond Disney's Even Stevens (yes...I used to watch that show, shush). Josh Duhamel's sexxyyyy and Tyrese was funny; they made an awesome duo. The CG and effects were BEYOND awesome and cool. The robots really looked like they were in the scenes w/ the ppl and interacting w/ them. I knew so many of the places they filmed it as well. Though I don't know if it's a good thing that I actually RECOGNIZE Universal Studios' backlot, lol. Oh and uh, lol wth? Hugo Weaving is the voice of MEGATRON, HAHA. XD
I think this is so far one of the best adaptations that I've seen. Yeah, I know they changed the kind of cars they became but whatever, adaptations will never be 100% accurate as we well know by now. I was also so totally not counting on it the plot to deliver cuz hello it's Transformers, but the action and sheer effects was what did it for me. That and the nostalgia of it. Ah, I watched the cartoon when I was a kid but though I don't remember much anymore. :<
We drove by the 7-Eleven that got changed into a Kwik-E-Mart down Olive in Burbank. That was awesome. XD The sign was changed, so were some parts of the store from what I could see. We didn't go in cuz there was a long line of ppl outside waiting to get in. But I did take a few pics on Lawson's camera. XD
