X. The Wheel of Fortune

So I think I've made significant progress with the immediate goals at hand. I spent this weekend almost completely absorbed with my tarot deck, tackled some of the title art in my...record book, and picked up hermetic Qabalah and the tree of life again. It is amazing when you start to see the reflections between the tree of life and the tarot. They are all swamped in a swathe of very well placed symbols, each in their right place for the correct meaning. It's enough to make me euphoric. The symbols reflect and soon they swirl into one understandable cohesion. And then I step away from the study and find the same symbols right there under my nose. With patience I can sit and study their obscure manifestation into physicality.
The tarot is the main initiator here. To read the spread accurately you have to correlate the card to the appropriate situation it refers to. The cards are divided into separate elemental and astrological associations that play out on the card and then are divided again by the number of the card. After understanding the idea of the card you have to find this same idea in the passing of events in your life or in relation to your query. At that point it touches your awareness to every emanation of fire (dynamic action) that's tumbling out of chaos like a sack of potatoes. And that's only fire.

Ah, yes. I am ecstatic. There is nothing more liberating than confrontation with the self.

I'm curious to find the higher levels of the tree in conscious manifestation, even through their actuators. I wonder if this is how you start to climb the ladder?
