Arctic National Wildlife TV AD

From the National Resources Defense Council:

Enough is enough.

Last month, yet another corroding pipeline in Alaska spewed oil on the tundra ecosystem. The spill came just four months after a different BP pipeline dumped 200,000 gallons of hot crude at a caribou crossing in northern Alaska.

The lesson couldn't be clearer: Oil drilling is a dirty business that has no place in America's most sensitive wildlife habitats.

That's why the NRDC Action Fund is racing to put a hard-hitting TV ad on the air that will sound the alarm and stop the Bush White House and Senate leaders from sacrificing the Arctic Refuge as early as this month.

The ad is ready. But we need to raise $300,000 this week to run the ad for a full seven days in all 50 states -- and generate overwhelming pressure on all 100 SenatorsEnough is enough.
