In truth, there may have been more progress made than I initially credited to you. Though it is a change that has taken some time to occur, recent results have shown some improvement ( Read more... )

Such a straight-forward offering. How kind of you.

The catch?

I suppose it should be little surprise that such a question was asked of me so early. There is none; rather, I simply wish to observe what happens after removal.

One learns to see the disadvantages even in advantages such as these. Raw materials are at least capable of that much, on occasion.

It would be such a shame if you ended up without much of a show. I'm guessing you'd like details? Or would that spoil the surprise?

[ awww almost definitely sarcastic use of his favorite term. how kind. ]

It is expected to have some skepticism regarding the offer. However, I assure you that my intentions are quite simple in this case.

I also do expect that if there would be little to gain from removal of the chip, that they would not bother to go to the trouble.

Any detail beforehand would, of course, be appreciated, due to the prevalence of those with powers bordering on the destructive.

[I do what I do best. ♥]

Actually, I find it rather hard to imagine someone like you having an ulterior motive. Your reasons are clear enough. There's never anything wrong with enjoying a good spectacle.

I suppose now is a good enough time to offer my side of the deal then. Forgive me if I am a bit... vague.

[ aww. so flattered. ]

Is that so? I suppose I should be thankful for such a judgment of my character.

My compliments don't come cheap. This is payment enough.

Are you familiar with the practices of the occult? Voodoo as well. An odd combination, I know, but it's so hard to keep my interest in just one type of witchcraft.

I have some familiarity with the field, yes.

Then you can already begin to assume about what I can do? Of course, I'm far from perfect in those areas.

I can. It is little to worry about, though. Any skill is of interest to me.

Lucky~. I haven't been able to put my talents to use in such a long time. Is this the part where we shake hands and make a blood pact? Or will a simple "pleasure doing business with you" suffice?

The latter would be more preferable, I believe.

As do I; however, this is for little more than gaining some insight. Therefore, I see little reason that this experiment should fail.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
