...this period of waiting is quite an inconvenience.

However, it is in keeping with a certain phrase-- "that which doesn't kill me makes me stronger," I believe it was?

[ there is a short pause, though it sounds as though he is going to continue (as he usually tends to). and then-- thud. what happens when you used to heal right up from wounds ( Read more... )

It was. As inconvenient as usual.

Do you feel any stronger at the moment?

[ lets out a short half-laugh at the first part. when he does continue speaking, after a slight pause, he sounds surprisingly amused for the situation, if not a bit more tired than usual. ]

No, I can't quite say that I do.

More waiting is in order then. Possibly some rest.

That seems to be the only option... I suppose I should be thankful that I am not the impatient sort.

You're in luck.

It would be too much to ask what was the cause of your... unconscious spell, wouldn't it?

May I ask what you did expect? I have not managed to ask about side effects to removing it, if there are any. [Slight amusement in his voice.] If it was too easy, it would have been rather disappointing.

I had already been informed of the period of illness that would follow, as well as a lack of control over one's "powers." What I had not expected was for that to refer to an almost complete lack of said powers.

[Since it's not on video, you can't see the noticeable face he's making right now. Almost... like a pout.]

Ah. It must be a gradual thing then.

...always such a hassle.

Though it is unfortunate, there is little I can do about it for the time being.

[ you may catch a small note of annoyance, slight as it is, in those words. he does not much like not having control of things. ]
