what the hell is wrong with Izzy? does she not get that mob guys don't just say thank you and leave when you return something you stole from them? has she not seen any of the Godfather movies or the Sopranos? ok, yeah, i'm just as damn stubborn as she is when it comes to taking care of my business, but i NEVER did something dangerous alone when i was still human. i did some fucked up shit before Michael turned me, but i always had Joan and Astraeia to back me up. good christ, you'd think after Astraeia and i went with her to a different dimension to bring back Stefan that she'd get it through her head that we're here if she needs help.
i knew something was up with her when she came to get the painting. Stefan has some pretty bad plans, but his brother seemed a little more rational. and i can't believe she flat out lied to me! 'the hell? i don't see the point of going to do something potentially dangerous by yourself when you've got friends that are willing to help you.
doesn't surprise me she called Astraeia to help her AFTER she'd already gotten the crap kicked out of her. thank the gods she called someone, she could've been dead if she hadn't. i sat at the hospital with Vince until Stefan finally showed up. Iz hadn't come to yet, so i left shortly after he arrived. i asked Vince to call me if anything changed, and to tell her that i'd be back if she woke up at all. well, she woke up alright, and apparently demanded to be released. hello, broken arm, broken ribs and a concussion? stay in the hospital and take advantage of the good drugs.
Vince called yesterday to say she was going back to the condo. i'll go over to see her tonite when the sun sets. lucky for her she's injured, i'll save the "what the hell were you thinking" speech for when she's feeling better.
