Casting for OotP
So apparently they've casted the young marauders. This is a cause for celebration because honestly, I was afraid they'd forget about them completely and then i'd have to boycott all the movies and that would be very sad indeed. They're not perfect of course, and I saw them differently, but I think they're good choices. So, as of now they have:
Remus Lupin
He's actually not bad. Not my ideal Remus, but he could have been a lot worse, and my only quibble is that he doesn't *feel* Remus-y, but then i'm guessing he's not playing him here, so he doesn't actually have to. He needs to be more nerdy looking and not nearly as relaxed and cool, and i'm sure they'll do that. I'm actually pretty happy with him. The only funny thing is he looks like he's somewhere between how I saw my Remus and my Sirius. So i'm really wondering how they'll cast Sirius.
James Potter
Um...I guess he's okay, but not crazy about this choice. I saw him much skinnier and lankier, I think. Not that you can really tell from just a head shot, but he looks kind of off. Again though, he's not bad.
Lily Evans
Her hair better be red, that's all i'm saying. Because it looks way more brown in that picture. Other than that she's actually pretty good.
ETA: Young Lupin has not been cast according to the WB!
