Happy St Patrick's Day
Hi everyone!! How are you all doing? I'm home for the day and looking forward to a lie in tomorrow morning as it's Paddy's Day here and the banks are all on holidays. Yay!!!
I'm parked on the couch at home watching Ugly Betty. Do you know my Dad calls me Ugly Betty because I have a pair of blue glasss and a pair of red ones just like hers. I don't have the braces though. Hilda has just told her father (not on purpose) that she's pregnant.
I'd love to have a baby. I just love them. But being a nice Catholic girl I have to wait until I get married to start popping out the babies. And I'm 26. That's a little young to be having them just yet.
Ireland is going to be messy tomorrow. Aside from the mass in Irish which I love, I don't really like Paddy's Day anymore. It's just another excuse to have too much to drink too much and cause major mess in the towns.
That's my rant over. I'm insaney busy at work, lots to do right now in building up the banks again as they have hit a slump. And my boyfriend's Dad has just been told he has leukemia, so really, my worries are trivial. They're still waiting to hear if he'll have to have much chemo or what he'll need. It's going to be a rough few weeks for them all.
I have to go collect my Dad from the pub now, he had a work night out and he's demanding a lift home! Hope you are all keeping well and that the weather is nice where ye are! Sláinte agus beannachtaí Naomh Phádraig libh go léir!
