Vote

I know it is not my place to tell you these things, but if you are an American citizen, are of age, and are registered to vote, please do. Many of you are probably in the 18-35 age bracket, and statistically, we don't vote in as large numbers as we should. This is why pulbic universites do not get the funding they deserve, this is why there are ( Read more... )

Voting? Hell yes! I wrote pro-voting slogans all over our bathroom mirror with dry-erase marker. 'Tis great fun.

Love the icon, by the way!

Why *your* bathroom mirror? I think it would be a lot more fun to do that all over some really busy washroom mirror in a mall. :P

I wish I could vote, but I'm Canadian, so no show there.

Actually, it was someone else's mirror, in a way. It was in the community bathrooms of my college dorm. Ha! That way, about 50 or 60 girls in all are seeing it.

And I adore Canada. Toronto.....hey, wait. Hey I just realized that I'm wearing my T.O. shirt. Woah. Weird.

Oh, Canada, I don't know the rest of the words.....but, VOTE, AMERICA!!!!!!

Everyone loves an underdog. Way to be the one Kerry supporter in Georgia! (Kidding...I hope.)

one more year and i would have been able to vote! but i guess its a good thing that i'm not, i'm still undecided anyways.

Today, there was a Bush-Cheney '04 mob running around my school, shouting "FOUR MORE YEARS!" and verbally assaulting Kerry-Edwards people....and by the end of the day there was a large Bush-Cheney mob and a particularly small Kerry-Edwards group that liked to call themselves a mob, debating it out.

I guess thats what I get for my family living in the south.

Cheers,

Ah, yes. Mobs are always a source of deep intellectual commentary. Luckily, they only set up tables at my school, and drag you in if you get too close.

I'm in the South, too. As I'm a Kerry supporter, I'm a little depressed right now. But my school has both mobs and tables that can accurately be described as political black holes (once you get a certain distance from it, prepare for a long tailspin into destruction), so I guess I've got double the danger.

Man, I'm sorry for all you Southern Kerry supporters. At least I'm from New England, and living in DC, both of which are bastions of liberal thought. I can't imagine what it's like to be outnumber and outvoted all the time.

Hope you avoid the black holes of political thought (or anti-thought).

I got the little "I Voted" sticker and couldn't be more proud of myself for letting my voice be heard.

Aw, I couldn't get a sticker because I voted absentee. But good for you and your voice! Be heard!

I voted absentee and I got a sticker. Well, I went with my friend and "surrendered" my ballot and was given another absentee ballot and allowed to vote and ended up leaving with a sticker.

But I'm sorry you didn't get one. I would give you mine, you but are so far away.

Yeah, I mailed my absentee ballot three weeks ago. Who knows if it was even counted? Well, I'm from CT, so it's not like it mattered. Maybe I should move to a swing state.

Thank you for at least pretending you could give me a sticker.
