I think I might actually check this one out. I haven't read a good real-life kind of book for ages (too imersed in schoolwork and oddball fantasy, damn them both). Hope life's going well for you in the background of the giant Plot Contrivances.

I usually wouldn't read real-life books either, but joining the book club has forced me to start reading them. I'd thought all real-life fiction was either self-indulgent angst or shallow chick lit. It's nice to find out I'm wrong.
