So, Rachel's Open House was fucking sweet. Good food, awesome people, and a hardcore 10 v 10 volleyball game.

I realized while playing that I never really got to know some people that I have been in classes with for four years. Like Scott, John, Tim, and Travis Thomas. I think its because most people in high school tend to stay in pretty tight-knit, gender specific cliques, and even though I'm friends with just about everbody (I'm not the clique type), I never really talked to them. I've hung around Scott Launius a bit, but I realized when he, Tim, and I were shelving books in humanities, that the longest conversation I've ever had with Tim was maybe 3 minutes, tops. Maybe it was because we are in slightly different social circles, but it sucks none the less. And from how Tim, Scott, John, etc. and I have interacted at recent parties and the like, I wish I had known them better.

If there is one thing I regret about high school, its waiting till the summer of my senior year to make friends with some seriously sweet people.
