so yeah, posting this due to this is what I thought of the film, but well, got too frustrated with writting it all out and just got irate with the film. so yeah, found this in my net wanderings and thus posting it

Very nicely done... even though I did love the film, I do remember parts of the movie where I physically did laugh out loud. I think there was one scene where there were dancers in the background.. an opera rehearsal or something. They looked like dancers from 'Solid Gold'.

Gerard's voice didn't really live up to expectation and his delivery was a little flat. I agree too that the opening overture shouldve shook the walls dammit! It's meant to strike fear into the hearts of those listening! Admittedly, I did get a noice set of goosebumps but dammit.. it could have been much louder. My mother likes to turn it up to extreme on a Sunday morning at 7am *lol*

I actually liked Minnie Driver as Carlotta. She made a good diva I thought *shrug*.

Ahahahaha.... I didn't hate the fan to quite that degree, that I found it intensely annoying overall. But I just love that review.
