Final Fantasy XIII, why are we attacking the motorcycle racers? They were having a race. It was probably the most exciting thing to happen yet in the game, and you interrupted it to attack them. I don't know why you are attacking them--they didn't do anything to you. You appear to be stealing their motorcycles? But why would you need those, you have Transformer Eidolons. Oh, you're not stealing the motorcycles. Okay, I'm still very confused.
Perhaps this scene is an allegory for the game's plot as a whole.
Certainly it makes about as much sense.
Also why does the volume fade in and out during boss battles? I'm pretty sure it's intentional, but I don't know why, because as effects go it's pretty fucking stupid.
