A pretty good weekend
Friday at work was good. It was the last day of a good friend of mine, which was kinda sad as I'd really gotten used to having him around (I've not been working here that long after all). But it did mean there was lots of silliness and a big pub outing for lunch. Friday evening was then spent watching My Name is Earl with jinx_lbc, and getting beaten at worms. :)
Saturday I went to Cabot Circus with kissycat1000 and jinx_lbc, and totally failed to buy anything. Probably a good thing really. ;) Oh yes, before I went, I called in to the post office to pick up a recorded delivery I'd missed on Friday...
You're jealous, admit it. ;) That's November all sorted now, flights and hotel booked, work holiday time booked, tickets safely arrived. Now we just have to wait nearly 5 months! :S
Saturday evening saw kissycat1000 and I drink too much wine, stay up too late, and watch the first two teminators. It was ace :)
Sunday was a pretty lazy day. Though it did involve a quick trip out to tesco where kissycat1000 finally managed to find a new pretty dress and matching shoes, hurrah! Then we stopped for lunch at the Monkey Tree. In the evening I went to see "Blood: The Last Vampire" with azekeil. It was fun, reasonably well done, but not nearly as good as it could have been, so I was a little disappointed, but not so much as to make me regret paying for the ticket!
This morning I have finally gotten my new shoes. Can't wait to try them out! I should get to give them a good try out this weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good and sunny!
Anyway, lunch time!
