No LJ at work (aaaaargh!) for the time being, so I'll be quiet online for a while. :)
Not much happened really. One nice thing though, went home (to the place I actually pay rent for) for the first time in about 3 weeks, and found a pile of letters. Mostly bank stuff, one DVLA (confirmation of my bike's SORN renewal), and one from the Inland Revenue. Seeing those words on an envelope always makes me nervous, every time I've had one in the past it has been a demand for money for some reason or other.
This time, much to my surprise and delight, it was a rebate cheque for £354!! Win! \o/ XD
Great timing as it turns out... It would appear that I need to get a new set of carbs for my bike, which will cost somewhere in the region of £220. The old ones haven't improved, and they can't be adjusted as the bolts are all seized up, so they've got to go. Still, with new properly tuned carbs, fresh brake pads, a clean air filter, and brand new tyres... It should be pretty damn sweet when I finally get it back!! :D
