This makes a lot of sense. I really like how you've developed this part of the storyline, as now, without girl parts, Draco really has to maybe get over some of the denial about how maybe living with and sleeping with and raising a family with a guy for about TWENTY YEARS, might mean that you might be at least a little bit bisexual. :)

Oooh, I have a question that occurred to me totally in the middle of nowhere (I think I was on a bus somewhere), which is a testament to how much this story has stayed with me and how eagerly I'm awaiting the next installment.

So, here it is. If the murtlap essence and star grass salve is evidence for Abraxas being interested in gay sex, if Draco and Harry had a jar of this lube/healing salve, then doesn't it mean that SOMEONE has been taking it up the bum? And, by transition, since it wasn't Draco (who talks about how he's not gay because he doesn't take it up the bum like all the time), mustn't it be true that Harry has been taking it for the team at least sometimes?

Because you know for sex with girl-parts, lube isn't really as much of a necessity, because they are more, uh, self-lubricating. And even if lube is still a good thing, it doesn't need to be a healing salve as much... and then it would just be evidence that Abraxas is (or wants to be) sexually active with girls, anyway.

If I'm totally not remembering some obvious bum sex earlier on in the story, I apologize.

Anyway, great story and I'm waiting on tenterhooks for the last installment! Thank you so much for crafting this universe for us!

Oh, and I mean by "that makes a lot of sense", that it makes perfect sense from the writer's POV in creating a consistent universe. I'm not implying that Draco's crazy delusional "I'm totally not gay, really, although I clearly love and lust after Harry Potter and want to grow old with him while having great sex on a regular basis" POV is sensible. :)

It was vague and not really delved into in any detail.

I think you think far too hard into this and "bumsex". My beta and I just tossed around some potions ingredients, we didn't think too hard on it. It's just meant to be certain ingredients is all.
