Oh my GOD. Now that is killer angst. It's amazing though ... Hermione is totally right. Neither Harry nor Malfoy seems to have ever learned to just talk to the other, when that could help so much, could probably fix everything or damn near close. I dunno how you learn that late in life, but I hope one of them figures it out. I don't see how else they can make it through. I mean, they have each other and that's so very much, or at least they could so easily have each other.

*wibbles* :( :( :(

Harry is a fascinating study in inarticulate frustration and anger and Malfoy a study in inarticulate despair. Lucius is a fucker, who shouldn't be allowed to get away with it.

Lucius isn't so awful, he's just...how shall one say, disappointed with what he found happened to Draco.

I hope at least either Draco or Harry figures things out too.

Thank you, elanna9! ;)

Yeah ... um ... *offers a large bribe* ??? :)

I'll admit my opinion of Lucius is likely colored by the way he's behaved in a couple other fics I've read recently, but ... damn it all! Don't parents realize the damage they do to their children?! Makes me nervous as hell now that I have my own. Especially when you know it's bound to happen no matter what you do, but Lucius doesn't even seem to care about Draco.

I mean, I can understand that he's disappointed that Draco has shacked up with Harry, for one thing, and I'm sure he probably did expect Draco to wind up doing something else with his life, but ...

No, I'm sorry. I think he's a fucker. There's no call for a parent to ever treat their own child like that. *shakes fist* and *pets Draco*

(just my reaction)

I've always been rather partial to Lucius, I must admit. :D
