blessed time difference!

this had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. the scene was so realistic and lucius and draco were so absolutely canon.

so this is what abraxas was upto? he is not one of my favorite characters but even with such few words you gave us a great insight into what makes him tick.

another excellent chapter. god, i love this verse.
THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much, wildegirl_05! :D

No one likes Abraxas much, it seems. *schnoogles him*

i find my own reaction to abraxas hard to explain (in case you were wondering *g*).

his thinking and actions resemble canon!draco to me. i adore canon!draco. and i feel that you've written abraxas far more sympathetically than rowling does draco. yet i haven't taken to him.

i wonder if it's the harry in him? that somehow this progeny of harry and draco may take all the charecteristics we love in them and still turn out to be not very likeable *ponders*

if so, i would consider him a great writing achievement. esp for the genre.

Oh? Does the genre mostly have sugar-sweet, have-to-like them, Mary/Gary Sue children? I admit the few mpregs I've read have all the same cookiecutter children that make me spew because they're so...characterless, you know? Maybe it's just me. But I think that any sort of children, mpreg or not, can and should be fleshed out into real people.

I can't claim to be an expert, but I will say this - very few of the children I've read have been memorable. I think it's part of the reason the genre takes such a beating.

Two exceptions, outside of your verse:
--Second Chances by kishijoten: It's not an m-preg but a story focused on H/D parenting. I found every one of the children fascinating.
--Emmy in the RPG I follow: Created by dracolicious & boywholives. She's a toddler and you only see her through her parents' eyes (and they are clearly besotted with her) but she's already showing signs of being a force to reckon with.

I agree. You need fleshed out children, esp if you're writing a story based on family relationships (which is my favorite type of m-preg)
