I feel so cheap, always reading your updates and never updating myself. I'm not too sure how that happened. A couple weeks ago I typed a superlong entry detailing what my life is like on a day-to-day basis, and my stupid lemon of a computer ate it. It's not too easy just jumping back in here, and who knows if I even will, but here's an entry for

Wow life sounds busy but very satisfying!

The "hot toddy" sounds delicious, I will have to try it soon.

A note on the cat boxes - my sister and my mother gifted us a litter robot. http://www.litter-robot.com/

While I would probably not buy a $330 cat box on my own this was a gift. My sister and her husband love theirs so much they would buy another one tomorrow if theirs broke. We are not in love as they are but we do like the robot (mainly because I never minded scooping in the first place :P ). We have 4 cats in house, 3 like it and 1 hates it with a passion. I suppose it is not for everyone/every cat. It is nice to not have to scoop every day, you basically just pull out the drawer and dump it. The box does need to be near an electrical outlet and I do have to take the "box/ball" part off occasionally and scrub it with soap and hot water. I can say with out a doubt it does work and do what it is supposed to with no problems or issues - so if you ever decide to look into "auto boxes", this one works.

Haha that is so cool! My cats look for reasons to show me their displeasure, and I can only imagine the treats I'd be in store for if I brought that home. The biggest litter issue is the kittens, they just go SO MUCH that I have to be diligent or it gets out of control in just a day or two. Annnd once I'm at their boxes, I might as well continue on to the other cat boxes, and then the ferret boxes. It's a pretty good system, actually! The rabbit cages are the biggest pain, but I have a better system in the works :)

And here I have to give a shoutout to FreshStep Crystals. The Cavanaghs also use this, and I wouldn't have multiple cats without it.
