Look, I'm alive.
I've been busy with the usual things. Work, Adam, jewelry making, excessive playing of the sims..
Remember how a while back, I posted that I'd tried sushi and didn't care for it? Well, now I'm absolutely addicted to it and would eat it a few times a week if I could. Though there are still some things I don't care for. Baby octopus being one of them. Too rubbery, not enough taste to it.
I'm looking forward to spring. I've been taking walks around the grounds to the old historical home behind where I work, and I've started noticing the signs of the upcoming season. Tiny plants sprouting up, trees starting to bud, bulbs coming up. Although a lot of plants died because we had unusually warm weather for a while, so flowers were coming up and even starting to bloom. Then the cold snap came and blighted them. My sister is getting married there, in September. I hope the trees and flowers weren't too badly damaged, for her sake. I don't suppose we'll have a pretty autumn this year. Usually when winter is weird like this, the trees lose their leaves quickly and without much color.
But anything will be better than the dull gray and brown fields right now. It's snowing furiously at the moment, but it's too warm for it to stick to anything. We never got more than an inch or two of snow this winter.
