The frog has arrived
So my mother (who dislikes all things cold-blooded) was skimming the pool today and discovered a frog inside.
She immediately called me, and when I requested to keep it, she agreed. Quite the shock, I assure you, however, I quickly set to work in giving the new pet a home in an old aquarium I once had as a child. There is inside as of now, a tupperware of pool water, four (possibly less if it feels the need to feast) crickets - as we previously discovered he happens to like crickets, and a dead beetle. Atleast, I think it's dead.
I wrote to the maryland herpetology society (they study frogs and herpies apparently) as to what kind of frog it is, its gender, and what type of bugs does it eat as well as what its habitat is. I am awaiting a response.
