Someone really needs to take the sims away from me. Actually no, because they provide me hours of enjoyment. Harry & Ginny in particular. Speaking of which...

I should probably start putting ratings on these.

MY SIM'S ADVENTURES: PART 4: HARRY'S SEARCH FOR SOME ACTION!

Well, you create the families by choosing their hair colour, clothes, facial features, etc. Then the game shows you your "neighbourhood" and you select a lot for your family to live at. You get 20,000 "simoleons" to use to build your house and buy all your furniture. You start from the ground and build your walls, wallpaper, floor, etc; then go into buy mode and buy all your furniture. It's done really well, actually.
Then you go into live mode, and there's a selection for each character. You have status bars for 10 things: hunger, bladder, energy, hygeine, fun, etc. When you have one sim selected, you can click on a piece of furniture or land and you're given selections for what to do with it, or where to go. You can set up a bunch of things for them to do in order; like make dinner, eat dinner, etc. You can also click on other sims and there's tons and tons of things you can do with them.
Kids & teens go to school, adults have to find a job and then go to work daily, and they get promoted if they develop required skills (like mechanical, which you can develop by reading a book on mechanics), and kids have to do homework.
It's a much more exciting game than I make it sound, sims get sick, the Grim Reaper can come, there's fires, fist-fights, love and jealousy... it's done so well.
