Day 4: A Song that Makes Me Sad
I guess I should have seen this coming, given yesterday's category. There are many sad songs that I love, but most of them don't actually make me sad. They're so pretty that they make me feel bittersweet and wistful but altogether better. There are a few songs, however, that reach critical sad mass and make me feel sad even though - or possibly because - they are so pretty. I think the best example of this is River by Joni Mitchel.
