Keep the red! :)

May I suggest Feria 55: Cinnamon. It's the single best red-color I've found in dye-at-home kits.

i'm going to have to find some bleaching kit, then... my natural color is Asian Black. in other words, just short of looking glossy-fake black. :)

i must say, i did pick a good color to have the girl mix up when i first got my highlights. i'd been wanting to have my hair dyed red since high school, but i was kinda chicken. plus mom absolutely forbade it. but when mom started dying over the gray, she complained less. :)

i'll definitely keep the color in mind. thanks!

I recently found out that my 100% Irishness is disputed by the ridges on my teeth (yay for forensic dentistry?), and that I must have a decent amount of asian and spanish heritage for the right ridges to be there. *LOL* My hair is pretty black too.. Or was, before I started dying it.. And I've never really had a problem getting the color to stick, except after the one time I dyed my hair back to its natural color. But of course, the more bleached your hair is, the brighter the color. :)
