FINALLY!
We found a sitter in the form of a girl down the street that my kids kinda knew from playing in summers. I say kinda, because she's 15 and Maddy is 7, so it's not like they really play together much. But basically, we needed her to make sure the older two stayed in bed, the dog was let out, and no disasters struck the house so we could see the 8 pm showing of The Force Awakens.
Non spoilery review even tho I'm prolly one of the last people to see this movie: I loved it! I was so afraid to hope after the horrible prequels, but it was everything I wanted it to be. Rylo is such an emo murder baby, Rey is utter sunshine, Finn is precious, I didn't see enough of Poe, but I really like what I saw. Jason was utterly distracted by the hair explosion every time Kylo took off the helmet. Lol.
Now I don't have to avoid my dash on Tumblr for fear of serious spoilers, and I can start devouring the fic that has already gone up on AO3. Not sure who I ship the most yet, but knowing me? It'll likely be Rey/Finn/Poe, because I love me my OT3's of fluff and sunshine and friendship. There are obvious darker ships that I might fall into, because I also love angst and drama and prickly emo characters. lol.
