Okay, this is terrifying as a mystery for the characters - and I bet Loki'll be even more angry because those vets were HIS.

LOL. I was worried that I was doing Darcy all wrong at first. But this is the way she wanted to be written for this series. And it's a nice balance to how everyone else had been; her friendship is more effusive, less layered and prickly, and she says exactly what she means. Kind of a nice change!

Oh, yes, those were his vets. They actually mattered to Loki, and they're dying in such a weird way. So... it may be the Big Nasty Plot beginning to kick in here. ;)

I adore what fandom has done with Darcy. I was actually disappointed in her whininess the first time I did a rewatch of Thor I --after all of the awesome fanfic, she seemed very bland. I think fandom has made her a lot more like her Max Black character in Two Broke Girls.

Say it ain't so! (and I'll know you're lying to me....:)

It's been a while since I've seen Thor, and I never saw Two Broke Girls. So I think it's pretty safe to say that my Darcy is wholly influenced by really kickass fanon. I started off reading a lot of Clint/Darcy in the MCU, actually. :)

The plot is beginning, but it's going to be a sloooooooow burn. :D
