Wow. Just got off the phone with my mother. Apparently, my making the comment that Jason would sut in the car while the kids and I had dinner made my dad cancel. So I can stop by with the kids for a few minutes, let them meet my dad and have a snack, or not. And that it wasn't fair that I was making them choose. I shut that down right away because hell no, I'm not going to embody their bullshit anymore. Maddy even wanted to talk with her specifically to ask her why they don't like her daddy. Which my mom responded by throwing my dad under the bus, saying he was the one that didn't want Jason there. She said she was stuck between everyone. Which is bullshit, imho. She knows what she's doing, and she's using his stubborn anger as a shield. Whatever. My daughter knows the truth at this point, that's good enough for me.
In better news, I'll go on my desktop in a little bit and upload pics of Nick's birthday cupcake and tonight's ice cream outing. :)
