The wee one had spiked a temp yesterday, so he's home sick today. Kids have to be fever free for 24h off of Tylenol or Motrin, so I'm home this morning while Jason's at work and I get to go in for the afternoon. I felt bad about the last minute cancellations, even tho everyone says I shouldn't be. So I'm going to see one over my lunch hour tomorrow and do part 2 of an intake Monday night. Otherwise it will be over a month out before I can complete the eval. The others say tough, but I felt bad about it. My stupid work ethic, I guess.
Other than the 101 they reported at day care, we've never had it up that high here. They have a thermometer under the arm and add to it since it's not an accurate reading of core temp. We have a temporal thermometer. That one did spike up at 99 point something last night. I didn't get higher than 98 this morning so I didn't bother with Tylenol for Nick. He's acting like himself and doesn't seem to be overly congested or lethargic. We're wondering if he's teething.
I did get an idea for the Inception!MCU idea, a scene toward the very end of the story. No title yet, so I'll try to outline it and put stuff in a gdoc; right now it doesn't look like the hideous monstrosity that it's been this week. Maybe my upset feedback every morning this week has made a difference? I hope so, tho we'll see what it looks like on my work computer this afternoon, too.
